We are offering three single-day beginner workshop sessions this fall for folks to try taiko. There's still room in all of the workshops, so sign up now and come hit drums!
Each three-hour session includes:
- Physical warm-ups to get ready to play and cool down afterward
- Basic hitting technique and practice
- Information about taiko history and culture
- Learning some simple patterns to create a taiko melody
Workshops are held at our studio in Bellevue and all equipment is provided.
- Sunday, November 10, 10 am - 1 pm
- Sunday, November 24, 10 am - 1 pm
- Sunday December 15, 10 am - 1 pm
